The NYC Department of Probation seeks to launch a CDL Training Program according to the specifications outlined in the RFx.

The Department of Probation seeks to launch a CDL Training Program serving 150+ participants across the 5 boroughs.This program will provide a pathway to in demand, living wage jobs in the transportation industry helping reduce recidivism through economic opportunity. By offering in person, hybrid instruction hands on training, and job placement, it removes key barriers to employment and supports long-term stability.
The solicitation is being made pursuant to the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase Method, Section 3-08 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules. To be eligible to respond to this solicitation, a vendor must be a City Certified Minority and/or Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. Contracts awarded under this method may not exceed $1,500,000, inclusive of any and all change orders, overruns, amendments, renewals and extensions.
