05625Y0175-Air Cylinder Recharging Station

Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) intends to enter into a sole source agreement with Air and Gas Technologies for the purchase of a Bauer Breathing Air Cylinder Recharging Station.  Air cylinder recharging stations are crucial for NYPD's Scuba Unit because they provide a reliable source of compressed air for breathing underwater. The Harbor Unit's Scuba Team currently has One (1) Bauer breathing air cylinder recharging station that has reached the end of its service life and is in immediate need of replacement. Air and Gas Technologies is the exclusive licensee for Bauer Air Compressors thus, no other entity can provide the required equipment to the NYPD.
