DEP intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement with Hydra-Stop LLC, for HYDRASTOP-2025 for the Purchase of Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System.  The Bureau of Water and Sewer Operations (BWSO) is requesting a sole source purchase of the Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System. This system will allow BWSO to reduce water main shutdowns when existing shut-off valves are non-functioning or in the event the system does not have a shut-off valve. By using the Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System, DEP/BWSO will allow the repair and maintenance of water, wastewater and other fluid systems without interrupting service or requiring system shutdown and quickly restore service to impacted customers. Any firm which believes it can also provide the required service IN THE FUTURE is invited to so, indicated by letter which must be received no later than April 15, 2026, 4:00pm at: Department of Environmental Protection, Agency Chief Contracting Officer, 59-17 Junction Blvd., 17 th Floor, Flushing, New York 11373, ATTN: Glorivee Roman, glroman@dep.nyc.gov
