Description:

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Development Department of Wyoming County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the development of County-specific GIS training to develop a workforce capable of GIS data gathering, QA/QC and understanding of GIS tasks to grow the GIS capabilities of the Wyoming County workforce. Proposals should include development of training modules and means for providing in-person GIS training across County departments.

Such proposals may be submitted by mail in a sealed envelope clearly identified as such on or before 4:00 pm Eastern Time on October 31, 2025.

The County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals received.

Qualifications:

Experience and References
Proposer shall provide a list of at least three (3) similar projects completed within the last five (5) years. Provide the following information for each Project:

• Project Title/Name.
• Date of award and substantial completion.
• Name and address of client.
• Client contact person and contact information.
• Summary of the project scope and services provided.
• Total contract amount and related services.

The Proposer shall explain the extent to which the firm has personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the scope of work.

Miscellaneous:

All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the Wyoming County Planning and Development Department. The criteria and process by which proposals will be reviewed are outlined in Section 5 of this RFP. This includes the evaluation focus areas, as well as the County’s method of selection and award.

It is anticipated that a contractor will be selected by the County on or around November 14, 2025. Awarding of the contract is subject to approval by the County Administrator, County Attorney, and the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors.
