WWTP Tertiary Tank Rehabilitation

The Town of Ayer is accepting quotes for WWTP Tertiary Tank Rehabilitation Project.

The work is generally described as the rehabilitation of the interior of one (1) Tertiary Tank in the Ayer Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Ayer DPW in Ayer, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by the Ayer DPW. The project is located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 25 Brook Street in Ayer.

All work shall be substantially complete within 90 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed and fully completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed.

Copies of the RFQ package will be available beginning May 27, 2026 from the Town’s web site https://www.ayer.ma.us/bids and will be available until submission deadline. This project is being procured in accordance with MGL c30 s39M, where an estimated contract amount is between $10,000 and $50,000 procurement can be obtained by a written scope-of-work statement to solicit written responses from no fewer than 3 persons who customarily perform such work. This RFQ shall constitute as the written scope-of-work statement and the written response shall be included on the Quote Form included as Section 00310.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
