25-15 WTP RAW WATER PUMP REPLACEMENTS
Bids will be received by the City of Sidney electronically through Bid Express until 3:30 pm (EST) on
Thursday, February 27,2025, at which time they will be electronically opened and reviewed.
Plans, Specifications, and bid forms will be available through the Bid Express website at
www.bidexpress.com. All electronic bidders must register with Bid Express in order to submit a bid (please
allow time for processing). Registration with Bid Express is free. Contractors and/or Subcontractors can
view and download information free of charge. In order to submit an electronic bid, the bidder will need to
pay a per bid fee or a monthly subscription fee for unlimited bids. We encourage bidders to familiarize
themselves with the Bid Express service in advance.
If the bidder experiences difficulties with the electronic bidding service, please contact the Bid Express
support team (1-888-352-2439, M-F 7am-8pm EST or support@bidexpress.com) at least 72 hours prior to
the bid opening.
The project consists of the replacement of two (2) existing raw water pumps with new water pump per
specifications contained within the online Bidding Documents.
A pre-bid meeting is NOT scheduled. Site visits may be coordinated by contacting WTP Superintendent,
Seth Epley at 937.498.8180 or sepley@SidneyOH.com prior to Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through the Bid Express website
no later than 1:30 pm (EST) on Friday, February 21,2025. Questions submitted outside of Bid Express
will not be answered.
The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the
Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio for Building Construction.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The
City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the
contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney.
