Description:	The qualified facilitator will be required to conduct a 3.5 hour long AVID Day workshop for 8th grade students on the WSU Vancouver campus on 5/22/2026, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; this will include 2 90-minute modules. The event will focus on providing the students with an expose to a college campus environment, and a “taste” of college life, and should inspire students to begin thinking about college as a goal, transition from middle school to high school, and reinforce college-going mindset.
