ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUOTES
1.1 REQUEST FOR QUOTES
The City of Zebulon is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors for the Wrightsburg
Way Paving Improvements project. Packages containing two (2) original paper copies
will be received until September 9th, 2026 at 10:00 AM, local time at:

1.2 SCOPE OF WORK
Improvements along Wrightsburg Way within the City of Zebulon include edge milling
of existing asphalt pavement, full-depth pavement patching, asphalt leveling, placement
of 1.5-inch, 9.5 mm Superpave asphalt overlay, traffic control, striping and signage, and
all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work necessary to complete the project.
Milling is limited to + 7-foot widths at the pavement edges adjacent to the existing gutter
line, and to a + 15-foot length at the end of the project limits where the proposed overlay
ends. The depth of milling will transition from zero inches at the existing roadway grade
to a maximum depth of 1.5 inches below grade so that the endpoints of the 1.5-inch
overlay will transition smoothly to existing grade, both at the gutter line and at the existing
roadway at the project limits.
1.3 PROJECT DOCUMENTS
Project documents, including plans and contract documents, are available by request from
the City of Zebulon.
1.4 GEORGIA SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION COMPLIANCE ACT AFFIDAVIT
All qualifying Contractors and Subcontractors performing work with the City of Zebulon
must register and participate in the federal work authorization program commonly known
as E-Verify, or any subsequent replacement program, to verify the work eligibility
information of new employees. In order for a quote to be considered, it is mandatory that
the Bidder's Affidavit of Compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 be completed and
submitted with the quote.
1.5 GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION STANDARDS
All work shall conform to the latest edition of the Georgia Department of Transportation
Standard Specifications for the Construction of Transportation Systems and applicable
supplemental specifications. Pay items shall be measured and paid in accordance with the
City of Zebulon C&S No.: Z0400.001

1.6 RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
The City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, waive technicalities and informalities,
and award the contract in the best interest of the City.
