    INVITATION TO BID
    WPCA Hoist & Concrete Repairs
    The Town of Plainfield is soliciting bids from vendors for Hoist & Concrete Repairs. Bid packages need to be
    fully completed and signed in order to qualify for the contract. Bid packages can be obtained online at
    www.plainfieldct.org or at the Finance Office located at 8 Community Avenue, Plainfield, CT 06374.
    Sealed bids clearly marked "Bid-WPCA Hoist & Concrete Repairs will be accepted until 2 P.M. June 11,
    2026, by the Finance Director. All bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026 at 11 A.M. at
    the WPCA North Plant, 26 Black Hill Road, Central Village, CT 06332 prior to submitting a bid.
    Bids will be opened and read at an open public meeting on June 11, 2026 at 2 P. M . located at the
    Town Hall, 8 Community Avenue, Plainfield, CT 06374.
    The Town of Plainfield is An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer The Town reserves the
    right to amend or withdraw this Invitation to Bid for any reason, to accept or reject any or all Bids, to
    waive any formalities or non- material deficiencies in any Bid, and to make such award (or make no
    award) of a contract in connection with this Invitation to Bid all as determined by the Town, in its
    discretion, to be in the best interest of the Town. A Bid may be rejected for irregularities of any kind,
    including without limitation, alteration of form, additions not called for, conditional proposals, and
    incomplete Bids. A Bid may also be rejected if, in the opinion of the Town, the Bid does not meet the
    standard of quality established by the Bidding Documents. Any or all Bids may be rejected if there is
    any reason to believe that collusion exists among two or more Bidders. The foregoing provisions are for
    illustrative purposes and shall in no way limit the right of the Town to reject any and all Bids, in whole
    or in part.
