The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 08 Contracting Office has a requirement to replace and add additional ceiling mounted patient lifts. This work will include removal and replacement of some existing lift systems and new installations in areas defined below. Removal of existing lift equipment will be accomplished by the contractor and materials will be returned to the VA for proper disposal. All new lift equipment will consist of Traverse or H style rails to maximize functionality over the bed. Max lift capacity for a regular lift shall be at least 625lbs, with bariatric needs noted as 1250lbs. Locations in our Acute Care area (6A and 6B) with double occupancy rooms will be noted with a (1) or (2) for the bed number to be covered. Locations with an existing lift to be replaced will have the current lift model identified. Locations for a new installation will have blank under the replacement.
The Product Code is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. A Vendor Site Visit is Scheduled for April 24, 2026, at 2:00PM EDT at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Located at 7305 N Military Trail West Palm Beach, FL. 33410-6400. Vendors will meet at the Main Entrance Doors West of the Emergency Room. This is to allow all Prospective Vendors the option to see the area(s) work will be performed, and to take measurements and photos needed to develop their quotes. This visit is not mandatory, but recommended as this is a Fixed Price Contract, and any winning quote will be binding once a Contract is Issued.
Solicitation package 36C24826Q0551 shall be posted on SAMS on or about April 20, 2026, and will close on May 13, 2026 (2:00 PM EDT) these dates are subject to change. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offeror s responsibility to monitor Sam for changes or amendments.
All suppliers must be Authorized Distributors for items supplied and must provide a letter that they are an Authorized Distributor.

Offeror Shall Complete (C.4) clause 852.219-78, when included in solicitations/contracts, to inform contracting officer whether it qualifies as a manufacturer or nonmanufacturer under the solicitation

Complete, sign and return certification with its offer when clause 852.219-77 or 852.219-78 is included in solicitations

VENDORS SHOULD BID ON ITEMS THAT THEY HAVE IN STOCK AND CAN PROVIDE ITEM QUOTED.
