The submarine industrial base (SiB) has hundreds of vendors seeking talented workers in skilled trades. The current challenge is for the SiB vendors to find, attract, train, place, and retain this workforce (ie. workforce development) to increase their productivity to meet shipbuilding demands. One critical need in the SiB is a robust training pipeline to get skilled and knowledgeable tradespeople into open production roles for existing vendors. This posting request interested workforce development vendors to provide a response which addresses the problem statement document. An expanded submission window for responses is being provided.
A Q&A was held February 25th at 1PM EST, a summary of the Q&A is included as an attachment to this posting for reference.
