Request for Proposal
Workforce Development projects provide participants with employment development activities, work exposure, work maintenance and additional supports to address barriers and support effective labour market attachment. Projects will also work closely with employers providing Clients with work exposure and job connection.
For clarity, this RFP is a Contract selection process and is not intended to be considered a solicitation pursuant to Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or other trade agreement obligations. This RFP serves to provide contract funding to entities that align with the goal and intent of this initiative as determined at the discretion of the Province.
Proponents are invited to submit proposals for the provision of Workforce Development services for Persons with Disabilities in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this RFP.
Proponents are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this RFP. Failure to satisfy any term, condition or requirement of this RFP may result in rejection of the Proposal.
Two contracts may be awarded as part of this RFP. SCSS seeks diversity and innovation in delivering these projects and SCSS will not award more than one Contract to a single provider.
All questions and any form of communication between the Proponents and the Province in relation to this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to the Contract and Procurement Specialist: Kristin.regan@gov.ab.ca, quoting the RFP number (as identified on the front page of the RFP) by December 13, 2024. Questions received after this time will be answered at this discretion of the Province. All questions and responses will be documented and will be posted on the APC website. Proposals must be submitted to the Province electronically, via email, in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format by the RFP Closing Date and Time to the following email address: PRMNorth.RFP-Proposals@gov.ab.ca. Proponents must submit proposal on or before the RFP Closing Date and Time: Thursday December 19, 2024 at 14:00:59 Alberta Time.
