Request for Proposal
Workforce Development Services aim to support unemployed or marginally employed Albertans experiencing barriers to employment by providing structured programming that includes employment development activities, work exposure, job maintenance supports, and additional interventions to address unique challenges. These projects work closely with employers to provide participants with job connection opportunities and support effective labour market attachment.
For clarity, this RFP is a Contract selection process and is not intended to be considered a solicitation pursuant to Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or other trade agreement obligations. This RFP serves to provide contract funding to entities that align with the goal and intent of this initiative as determined at the discretion of the Province.
Proponents are invited to submit proposals for the provision of Workforce Development services for Albertans in Northeast Edmonton in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this RFP. Proponents are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this RFP. Failure to satisfy any term, condition or requirement of this RFP may result in rejection of the Proposal.
One contract may be awarded as part of this RFP.
All questions and any form of communication between the Proponents and the Province in relation to this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to prmnorth.rfp-proposals@gov.ab.ca quoting the RFP number (as identified on the front page of the RFP) by March 10, 2025. Questions received after this time will be answered at this discretion of the Province. All questions and responses will be documented and will be posted on the APC website. Proposals must be submitted to the Province electronically, via email, in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format by the RFP Closing Date and Time to the following email address: PRMNorth.RFP-Proposals@gov.ab.ca.
