WordFly – Pop, Inc.

The Minnesota Department of Information Technology, on behalf of the Minnesota Zoo, intends to renew an agreement with Pop, Inc. for up to 24 months to provide ongoing access and support for the WordFly platform. WordFly integrates with the Minnesota Zoo’s Tessitura customer relationship management system.

Wordfly’s bulk email marketing service platform allows Minnesota Zoo E-Subscribers to make updates to their preferences and grant the ability to RSVP to events. In addition, WordFly allows Zoo staff to create standard, triggered, or scheduled bulk email campaigns. This is necessary for communicating about Zoo events, reservations, and general information to the general public.

The Minnesota Zoo determined that Pop, Inc. retains exclusive ownership, copyrights, and trademark of their proprietary WordFly program. WordFly is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product that integrates with Tessitura as needed by the Minnesota Zoo.
