Wolters Kluwer Medi-Span

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to renew an agreement with Wolters Kluwer, for up to 12 months, for access to Medi-Span. This solution is a reference data file product that provides detailed information, organized by National Drug Code (NDC), on procedural codes related to the delivery of drugs in clinic and hospital setting, as well as the characteristics, classification, use, and pricing of drugs. The product is delivered as data reference tables that create associations between different identifiers and coding systems for drugs. MDH utilizes this licensed pharmaceutical reference data as it is compatible with their existing research.

MDH has determined the Medi-Span is the only application that would allow their research to be maintained and continued. Additionally, MDH determined that Wolters Kluwer is the only vendor that provides this Medi-Span solution.
