SEALED proposals will be received by the Town of Puckett at Heflin Engineering, 548 Keyway
Drive, Flowood, MS 39232 until 11:00 AM, local time, on August 17, 2026, at which time and
place, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the closing time
will be returned unopened.
The work shall consist of furnishing materials for an automatic meter reading (AMR) system with
approximately 260 water meters and appurtenant items for the Town of Puckett.
Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and other Bidding Documents are available for download or
in hard copy format or for public viewing at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, LLC,
548 Keyway Drive, Flowood, MS 39232. Documents must be purchased from the Engineer for

Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to
five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract
Documents.
