Wisconsin Newborn Screening in the Plain Community Funding Opportunity

Funds are available through the Newborn Screening Program to increase access to newborn screening follow up services, clinical services, and genetic testing for members of the Plain community.

The ongoing availability of funding is undetermined. With availability of funding, there is two possible one-year renewals.

Preference will be given to organizations that currently have a relationship and provide culturally appropriate services to the Plain community in rural areas of Wisconsin.

• Survey Application due date: 12 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2025.
• Anticipated annual award amount: Single award up to $90,000 annually.
• Anticipated project dates: July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, with up to two possible one-year renewals.
