Wintergreen Ave Pedestrian Improvements

Sidewalk construction and bumpout installation along Wilmot Rd and Wintergreen Avenue from Wilmot Crossing to West Campus Residence of SCSU Street. The project will bring a new 5 feet wide sidewalk along the west side of the road and a bumpout at the south east corner of the intersection between Wintergreen and Wilmot. This project aims to provide a safer travel for pedestrians and connect between the West Rock community. Typical work includes earth work, demolition, concrete sidewalk, curb installation, concrete sidewalk ramps and driveways, and pavement markings.

This is phase 1 of the project, with a plan to build a pedestrian bridge over the wintergreen creek and continue the sidewalk on Springside Ave to connect to CGHS in phase 2. This project is funded by the CCGP Program.
