2026-2027 Winter Season - Bulk Road Salt and Ice Control

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that Milford Township, Pennsylvania is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of winter maintenance materials for the 2026–2027 season. The project shall be described as:
2026–2027 WINTER SEASON – BULK ROAD SALT AND ICE CONTROL
Bid packages including specifications, scope of services and bid documents, for the project may be obtained at the Milford Township Building, 560 Route 6 & 209, Milford, PA 18337; 570-296-5540, during normal business hours, 9:00am to 1:00 pm weekdays.
Proposals will be received by Milford Township at the Township Municipal Building, 560 Route 6 & 209, Milford, PA 18337, until 1PM on July 20, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at the regularly scheduled Township Supervisor’s meeting, 560 Route 6 & 209, Milford, PA 18337 at 7:15 pm on Monday July 20, 2026. Bids may be held by Milford Township for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. Milford Township will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any and all Bids.
Any request for Information (RFI) must include specific identification of the Project by name. All inquiries must be made in writing; email inquiries are acceptable.
OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED:
Milford Township, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted for the project and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION:
Bidders on the Contracts are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate.
Milford Township hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
