Bid Description:
The Town of Belvidere is requesting bids to plow and sand the municipality’s Class 3 roads,
Town gravel pit access road, access to the small sand pile provided for residents’ use, the
Town’s three (3) dry hydrant accesses, and municipal parking areas for the Town Clerk’s Office.
In the event that the Town repurchases the Belvidere Central School property, Contractor
agrees to plow and sand the school parking lot while in town for an additional surcharge
not to exceed $3,500.00 (three thousand, five hundred dollars) per winter season.
Bid Proposal Requirements: The full Contract for Services including detailed project information
and bid requirements is found using the link on the Belvidere Town website:
townofbelviderevt.com or a printed copy may be picked up at the Belvidere Town Clerk’s Office,
Tuesday – Thursday, between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM.
This is not a “low bid award” project. Bids will be evaluated and scored based on qualifications
and proposed cost, and the Town of Belvidere reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Send
your bid proposal and completed Town Contract for Services by email, U.S. mail, or hand
delivery to the Belvidere Town Clerk’s Office. Email: townclerk@townofbelviderevt.com ; mailing
address: Town of Belvidere, 3996 VT Rte. 109, Belvidere, VT 05442. Submission deadline is
3:00 PM on September 16, 2025. Late proposals will not be accepted. Contact Belvidere Road

questions. Contractor will be selected during the Selectboard meeting on September 17, 2025,
and notified the following day September 18, 2025. Contractors are encouraged to visit the
Town highway network and parking areas described above and ask questions to the point of
contact named above when preparing bid proposals.
