An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on March 19, 2024 at 8:30 AM at Davenport Public Works, located at 1200 E 46th Street. This will be a time review the location and specifications, address any questions or concerns, and discuss the City’s expectations. All contractors intending to bid on this project are encouraged tohave a representative in attendance.



Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system (https://davenport.ionwave.net); no emails, faxes, paper copies or any other submission method will be accepted. Each tab of the Invitation to Bid must be reviewed and responded to accordingly.

Bid Attributes
1 Understanding of Scope of Services
Contractor agrees they have the ability and manpower to simultaneously complete the window cleaning at the
Skybridge, River Center Ramp, Harrison Ramp, Redstone Ramp, and GTC in the three week window prior to Bix
Race Weekend. Work cannot be completed more than three weeks prior to the Bix 7 race, and must be completed
on or by the Thursday before Bix 7 race day.

2 Communication Disclosure
Any communication in reference to this Invitation to Bid between bidders and any City employee or official, outside
of the Purchasing Division, during the entire competitive bidding process is strictly prohibited. Such actions will
result in the disqualification of the vendor/rejection of the vendor's bid.
The only official position of the City is that which is state in writing and issued by the Purchasing Division. No other
means of communication, written or oral, shall be construed as a formal or official response statement.

3 Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Clause
During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees as follows:
1. The contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed,

3. The contractor will send to each labor union or representative or workers with which he has a collective

representative of the contractor's commitments and shall post copies of the notice in conspicuous places available
to employees and applicants for employment.
4. The contractor will comply with all provisions and procedures developed by the City of Davenport.

4 Non-Collusion Statement
By submitting a Bid for this project, the representative of the company certifies:
1. They are fully informed respecting the preparation and contents of the Bid submission and of all pertinent
circumstance respecting such Bid;
