Sewer replacement and complete lift station installation at the Will Rogers Downs KOA MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Detail
Cherokee Nation Entertainment, LLC (CNE) is seeking complete proposals from qualified contractors to provide sewer replacement and complete lift station installation at the Will Rogers Downs KOA. Replacement includes furnish and install new sewer lateral lines to campsites, new main lines to manholes, backfill and compaction, furnish and install new lift station, lift station electrical, associated forced main, all manholes and junction boxes, provide all materials, labor, taxes, permits, and required inspection coordination as per the attached drawings by KAS Gales. The work of this bid package is limited to Phases 5, 6, and 7 of the Phasing drawing. Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4 were previously completed. The KOA is located on the east side of the Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs and racetrack.
Scope of Services
1.        Furnish and install all gravity sewer lines, mains and laterals to campsites. This includes all required materials, all excavation, all Authority Having Jurisdiction (“AHJ”) inspections.
2.        Provide all permits for the scope of the work.
3.        Provide and include all necessary underground imaging to avoid other buried utilities.
4.        Furnish and install new lift station, forced main, and electric complete.
5.        Furnish and install all required backfill. Compaction per engineered drawings.
6.        Repair all gravel access disturbances as shown on drawings.
7.        All excavation and backfill shall comply with OSHA requirements for safety.
8.        In addition to a base proposal for services, contractor shall submittal a rate schedule for add services and reimbursables.
9.        Reference attached aerial image of the work area and the stamped drawings for the work.
10.        Rock excavation: Rock is defined as any hard material that cannot be excavated with an excavator >270hp. Rock excavation will be billed on a pre-negotiated hourly rate plus markup (provide mark up with proposal).
11.        If Contractor damages known underground utilities, Contractor is responsible for repairing the utility in compliance with local code and to Owner satisfaction. Unforeseen underground damage will be performed on a time and material basis as approved by Owner. Owner reserves the right to outsource any unforeseen repairs.
12.        All test results per the drawings will be submitted and reviewed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction, the Engineer of Record, and the Owner.
13.        Reference Sheet C-501, Detail RV Site Hook Up Detail: RV sewer cap will be provided by Owner and installed by Contractor.
14.        All safety fencing is the responsibility of the Contractor. Open trenches shall always have safety fencing.
15.        Contractor shall restore landscaped areas to original state prior to disturbance. Sod will be required for any excavation along the horse track.
16.        Bonding:
a.        A bid bond is not required.
b.        A 100% Payment and Performance Bond is required.
17.        Prevailing wages (Davis-Bacon Act) are not applicable.
18.        The work of this package is 100 calendar days. Contractor shall coordinate an amicable work schedule with Owner.
