Background:
Following the 2021 Marshall Fire, the Wildfire Partners has been expanding its geographic scope, messaging, and services to include the needs of the residents and communities in east Boulder County, which includes approximately 150,000 more homes. Services available to all Boulder County residents include outreach & education, community mitigation planning and advising, and curbside chipping. Our services and educational materials are aimed at all residents of the county and are intended to meet people at their level of knowledge. They also can be leveraged by other agency partners within the county including cities and towns, fire protection districts, non-profits, community groups, HOAs.
We see our audience falling into three broad categories:
VISION STATEMENT: Wildfire Partners supports collective and personal action to create wildfire-resilient communities across Boulder County. This will be the focus of the Boulder County: Wildfire Happens Here public awareness campaign (Task 1) and of our programs and services (detailed in Task 2).
