Wildcat Park Development

Project Description: Sealed Bids for the Wildcat Park Development project shall be received by the Walker Township Supervisors online via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 AM. Thursday September 4, 2025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and the results publicly displayed online at (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Bids will be reviewed and considered at the Walker Township regular monthly meeting.
Contract Documents for the work are on file and can be obtained electronically on PennBid for no cost. A fee for the documents, postage and handling will be charged to bidders wishing to receive a hard copy which can be ordered via the PennBid portal.
Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days.
The Work generally consists of improvements to the existing facilities which includes installation of playground equipment, the construction of an ADA compliant paved parking stall, paved access path and general restoration The work locations are more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. This project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prevailing wage requirements.
All paving work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified.
Walker Township, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R., notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that DBE will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
Walker Township reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof, to waive any informalities in any Bid and to accept any BIDS, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
