Wild Alligator Harvest on White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announces the sale of harvested whole alligators from White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area as follows:

PROPOSAL NUMBER: WLF-WLAH26

The wild alligator harvest will be conducted on White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area, located in Vermilion parish.

Sealed bids are due before 10:00 A.M., August 24, 2026, at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Headquarters, 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70898, 3rd Floor Conference Room #360 on the day of the bid opening. Prior to the bid opening date, sealed bids can be mailed to ATTN: Yvette Buckner, Louisiana Dept. of Wildlife & Fisheries, Procurement Division Rm #240, P.O. Box 98000, Baton Rouge, LA 70898-9000 by 10:00 A.M., August 24, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Headquarters, 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70898, 3rd Floor Conference Room #360 on August 24, 2026, immediately after the 10:00 A.M. deadline. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the bid opening.
