TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:

The following question(s) were submitted by potential bidders with answers listed below in red:

Is there a manufacturer for the exposed ornamental aluminum brackets (sheets A-201, A-202, A-

300, A-314, & A-315) or is this a fabricated item.

The brackets are to be fabricated by the successful GC.

The generator suppliers require a 100% deposit, the unit specified for this job is over $600,000.

With a delivery time estimated between 30 & 32 weeks. Our concern is for the GC or electrical

to carry that expense for that period of time. The county could make this an owner furnished

item and save the sub & GC mark-up’s or, allow for early release of funds for this item so it can

be released for fabrication and delivered 7-months down the time line. Please advise if one of

the above suggestions is acceptable.

On the generator, we do not recommend that the purchase of it be removed from the GC’s

scope of the project, but instead allow the GC to bill 100% for cost of the generator.

Is your team creating the furniture requirements?

Yes, based upon a basis of design

Are the furniture requirements included in the updated documents through A and D? If not, how

can I get that information to prepare my quote for the furniture?

They are included in Addendum No. 6.
