This project includes reconfiguring the 4 leg, 2-way stop-controlled intersection of Wheeler Rd & Road L NE into a single lane traversable roundabout. Contractor will install Vortex Modular System manufactured by ZKxKZ, LLC by method of ~ 862 stainless steel anchoring kits, traffic control, detours to northbound & southbound Road L, striping, pavement marking revisions & signage installation. Contractor will be responsible for all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete the work. City will supply ancillary installation equipment, modular roundabout materials and on-site installation consulting (to be scheduled) provided by ZKxKZ, LLC, permanent signing, and tubular markers.

All bids shall be received before said opening time in sealed envelopes with WHEELER RD & RD L ROUNDABOUT marked plainly thereon.
All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total of the bid.
All bidders shall be on the MRSC Small Works Roster prior to bid opening. Only bids from bidders who have received plans and specifications VIA the Civic Center Annex OR cityofml.com Engineering projects website will be accepted.
