NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF AMERICAN CANYON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, will receive Contract Proposals up to the hour of 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025 through the City's procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofamericancanyon or in person at the American Canyon City Hall, 4381 Broadway, 2nd Floor. Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter, in person in the Council Chambers, and referred to the City Council for consideration at the next regularly scheduled meeting. For proposals submitted in person, the City Clerk’s clock will be used to make the official determination of the time bids are submitted.

The Wetlands Edge Environmental Educational Enhancement Project consists of installation of an outdoor classroom, landscaping, interpretive signage, dirt trails, a stabilized DG path, steel headers, and other park amenities in the northwest portion of the project area. Work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, irrigation, landscape planting, flatwork, shade structure, shed, bicycle racks, benches, waste receptacles, and dog waste stations in the northwest portion of the project area at Wetlands Edge Park in American Canyon. The Engineer’s Estimate for this scope of work is $346,709.

A separate bid is requested for the Restroom Improvements scope of work. Restroom Improvements consist of a new sanitary sewer lateral, domestic water connection, and site preparation for a new prefabricated modular restroom. Work for Restroom Improvements includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, storm water pollution prevention, traffic control, a new 6” sanitary sewer connection and lateral, extension of an existing 1.5” domestic water line, grading and flatwork, restroom building pad, restroom unit and all plumbing required for utility connections. The Engineer’s Estimate for this scope of work is $243,500.

This project is funded by the Environmental Educational Facilities Grant and Parks Impact Fees.
