Invitation to Bid
Westside High School Addition & Renovation
You are invited to bid for a contract on selected Bid Packages for Westside High School Addition and Renovation for the Westside Consolidated School District located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereinafter termed owner. Bids are on a lump sum basis per the appropriate bid package. The Construction Manager, Tate General Contractors, Inc., on behalf of the owner, will receive sealed bids until Tuesday August 12th, at 6:00 p.m. Bids are to be delivered to the place of opening at the Westside High School Library, located at 1630 Highway 91 West, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72404, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the time stated above will not be opened.

Electronic plans, specifications and other contract documents may be examined and obtained from the Construction Manager, Tate General Contractors, Inc. Trade Contractors and Material Suppliers wishing to obtain their own copy of the project manual and drawings may acquire them from Jonesboro Blueprint or Southern Reprographics at your own expense from the electronic version received from the Construction Manager. Bid Form and Bid Packages must be obtained from the Construction Manager only.
No partial sets will be issued.
Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) for all bids exceeding $20,000.00 and made payable to: Tate General Contractors, Inc., Jonesboro, Arkansas.
All bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas, as provided by Act 142 of 1967, amended by Act 293 of 1969, and Act 397 of 1971, and Act 546 of 1971, as enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond using AIA Document A312.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of the bids, without written consent to the owner.
