Westside Drainage Improvements

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Westside Drainage Improvements will be received, by City of Zebulon, at the 7818 Highway 19 Street, Zebulon, GA 30295, until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Westside Drainage Improvements as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of installation of approximately ± 1,900 L.F. of storm piping various sizes 18"-42", 22 storm inlet boxes, headwalls, clearing & grubbing, construction of drainage swale, concrete driveway replacement, pavement replacement, utility adjustment, erosion control, and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 120 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 134 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Copies of Bidding Documents for bidding purposes can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Office of the Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the City of Zebulon, located at 7818 Highway 19 Street, Zebulon, GA 30295 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Upon request and receipt of the document payment indicated above, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted will be considered the prospective Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
