Western Buckeye Planning Study

Project Description: The City of Buckeye (the “City”) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (this “RFQ”) to qualified consultants (“Consultant(s)”) to provide a Western Buckeye Planning Study. The City seeks to understand the impact of development and progression of roadway infrastructure and the effect that it will have on the capacity of roadway segments within the Western Buckeye Study Area surrounding the Sun Valley Parkway Corridor. The study area is bounded by Sun City Festival to the north, White Tanks Mountains to the East, Baseline Road to the South, and Hassayampa River to the West. The Consultant will develop a subarea macroscopic traffic model to study the effects of land use and the development of roadway segments within the corridor to forecast volumes on the various roadway segments within the study area.
