Project Description: The City of South Salt Lake will accept bids for the project titled: 300 West Sidewalk Improvement Project, until 2:00 PM on 4/14/2025. Bids received after 2:00 PM will not be opened. The scope of work for this contract includes The work for this project generally includes constructing new sidewalks, curbs, and gutters along designated sections of the roadway. The project scope covers the installation of additional street features such as pedestrian ramps, driveways, streetlights, and minor pavement modifications, including widening and resurfacing where necessary Plans and specifications for the project can be obtained from the Utah Public Procurement website (Bonfire) or the Engineer, Isaac Gomez, at igomez@sslc.gov after 3:00 p.m. on 3/14/2025 There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for this project at South Salt Lake City Council Room, 220 E Morris Ave. South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 located on the 2nd Floor on 3/27/2025 at 1:00 PM. Attendance will be accounted for. Submitted bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:30 PM on 4/14/2025 at South Salt Lake City Council Room, 220 E Morris Ave. South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115. The project will be county-funded and will need to comply with Davis-Bacon highway wages, Build America – Buy America (BABA) and CDBG Labor Requirements. A 5% Bid Security will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
