West Jordan City Public Art Program-Call for Artists

Project Description: The City of West Jordan is looking to commission artists or artist-led teams (Artist) to create iconic artwork that fulfills some or all the following goals:
• Shows a strong artistic vision that enhances the area and adds to the character of West Jordan, fostering neighborhood pride.
• Reflects and respects the diverse cultures, stories, and identities of the local community.
• Creates a space where people can gather while promoting inclusiveness and a sense of belonging.
• Aligns with the community goals of improved outdoor recreation, environmental quality, and social connection.
• Is safe, durable, and suitable for long-term display in an outdoor space, appealing to a variety of art lovers. Artists will be responsible for general maintenance for five years after installation at no additional charge to the City.
