West End Dining Renovation

East Carolina University is seeking the services of a qualified design firm to provide design services for the West End Dining Renovation project. The existing dining hall is due for modernization. The current layout of the kitchen and dining is not sufficient to serve today's dining needs. This project will allow for a more efficient kitchen layout to properly prepare and serve students. Upgrades to the kitchen equipment will allow for more effective meal preparation. The existing seating area will be reconfigured to better accommodate students during peak hours. This project will be phased in such a manner to maintain service during the academic year. The initial design work for this project will be through design development including cost estimates and a detailed phasing plan to ensure dining operations can remain open during the renovation. The selected firm may be retained for construction documents through construction close out at the University's sole discretion.
