The City of Warrenton, Missouri, the Owner, is soliciting sealed Bids for the project listed below. The Owner will receive sealed Bids at the Office of the Clerk, 200 West Booneslick Road, Warrenton, MO 63383, (636) 456-3535, until the above time, at which time Bids will be opened for the following project:

WELL 7 TANK PAINTING

A Pre-bid conference will be held at the above time, in the Engineering Conference Room of the City of Warrenton located at 200 West Booneslick Road, Warrenton, MO 63383. The question period will conclude on Monday, August 25th, 2025, at close of business.

The Contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, material, and equipment to complete general maintenance repairs or replacements and repainting of the interior and exterior of the City’s Well 7 Tank. The work includes removal of interior and exterior tank paint, preparation, priming, and painting of the interior and exterior of Well 7 Tank. General maintenance repairs or replacements include the repair of all de-laminated sections, repair or replacement of all ladders, access hatch, overflow screen and duck bill, vent, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work described herein.

A Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder’s maximum Bid Price is required to be submitted with the Bid, on the form enclosed. The project is to reach Final Completion on or before June 30th, 2026.

Wages shall be paid to each employee engaged in the work at a rate not less than the prevailing rate of wages for the particular trade or occupation, as issued by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with the prevailing rate of wages for Waren County, Missouri. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with Missouri Immigration Laws and must submit the Work Authorization Affidavit with Bid. Contractor shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for its employees working onsite on the project, as described in Section 800.

THE OWNER INTENDS TO AWARD THE CONTRACT TO THE MOST RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER SUBMITTING THE LOWEST BID. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, AND TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITIES NOT INVOLVING PRICE, TIME OR CHANGES IN THE WORK IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE OWNER.
