Background

The Florida Legislature created the Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) as an independent special district by Chapter 94-491, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1994. A seven (7) member Board of Supervisors governs the utility. CCUA currently serves more than 50,000 customers in Clay County, Florida. CCUA management forecasts the population in Clay County will likely double by 2042. 2. Vision: Provide long-term sustainable value to our current and future customers by conserving and protecting natural resources while providing clean, safe, and economical water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services.
