Well Drilling Rig

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a well drilling rig from DeepRock as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and/or services. The rig must have a power-down system with 4,000 lbs. of pull down so as to drill through hard rock, a power-mast that lifts with a couch of a lever, and not having to assemble and disassemble complicated arrays of monitoring equipment for ease of mobility. The DeepRock M-60 meets is the only well drilling rig that meets these requirements and is the manufacturer and sole distributor of said equipment. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
