WELL-BEING COMMITTEE

In accordance with KRS 313.130(4) the Kentucky Board of Dentistry (KBD) may enter into a contractual agreement for the purpose of creating, supporting, and maintaining a Well-being Committee to promote the early identification, intervention, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals licensed or registered who may be impaired by reasons of illness, alcohol or drug abuse, or as a result of any physical or mental condition. The KBD is seeking a qualified person to coordinate this program (Coordinator). The Coordinator selected shall provide consulting services for the KBD as the Well-being program coordinator and shall attend the KBD Law Enforcement Committee Meetings, which meets the day prior to regularly scheduled Board meetings. He shall oversee licensees/registrants identified as impaired; tracking their recovery and completion of Board requirements.
