Description
Resistance spot welder shall be an air operated, water-cooled, upright, horn style spot welder meeting the following specifications:?        Minimum 170 KVA / 480 VAC / 3 Phase ?        The machine shall deliver a minimum of 25,000 secondary amps @ 90% heat demand?        The machine shall weld .032? to .050? thick 3003-H14 aluminum alloy sheet?        Welder shall be qualified to meet AWS 17.2/D17.2M Class B?        Frame: Fully gusseted �? steel, painted, color TBD at award?        Throat depth: minimum 18? to weld tip centerline?        The lower arm shall be maximum 3.25? O.D. X minimum 16? long water-cooled copper with an adjustable backstop. There shall be a linear scale and pointer incorporated into the lower arm for setup purposes.?        Weld pressure: minimum 600 lbs @ 80 psig air pressure?        All regulators, gauges, valves, and controller interfaces for fully functional machine with muffled exhaust shall be included?        2.3-ton minimum capacity IFM or equal closed loop water cooling system fully installed with adjustable flow and coolant shall be included?        MFDC WT6000 or equal current monitoring Programmable Weld Control System with handheld programming pendant, minimum 600-amp water cooled inverter, built-in circuit breaker and water-cooled SCR firing contactor
