STATEMENT OF NEED
The Corinth School District (CSD) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a
comprehensive web-based communication, engagement, and outreach platform for students,
families, staff, and district administrators.
The district seeks a solution that supports multi-channel communication, family engagement,
attendance outreach, communication tracking, emergency notifications, reporting, data analytics,
and integration with district information systems. The platform should improve communication
between schools and families while providing administrators with tools to monitor engagement,
document outreach efforts, and analyze communication effectiveness.
The selected vendor shall provide software licensing, implementation, integration, training,
technical support, and ongoing maintenance services for a three-year contract period.
The Corinth School District serves approximately 2,300 students across three schools and
requires a scalable solution that supports district-wide communication and family engagement
initiatives.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Corinth School District invites interested vendors to submit proposals for a web-based
communication platform as outlined in this Request for Proposals.
The district consists of:
* Corinth Elementary School (PK-4)
* Corinth Middle School (5-8)
* Corinth High School (9-12)
The district serves approximately 2,300 students.
The proposed solution should provide district-wide communication capabilities for
administrators, teachers, staff, students, and families.
Omissions in the proposal of any provision described herein shall not be construed as relieving
the vendor of responsibility for the complete and satisfactory delivery, implementation,
operation, and support of the proposed services.

CONTRACT TERM
The contract resulting from this RFP shall cover the following school years:
* July 15, 2026-July 16, 2027
* July 15, 2027-July 16, 2028
* July 15, 2028-July 16, 2029
Vendors shall provide annual pricing for each year of the contract. Pricing shall remain fixed for
each contract year.
The district reserves the right to renew, extend, or terminate the contract as provided herein.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Proposals shall be submitted electronically to bid@corinth.k12.ms.us with Subject Line:
"Communication Platform RFP Bid" or in a sealed envelope clearly marked as follows:
"Communication Platform RFP Bid" delivered to the Corinth School District Central Office,
1204 North Harper Road, Corinth, MS 38834. Envelopes not marked will remain sealed.
Proposals must be received no later than the date and time listed in the proposal timeline. It is the
sole responsibility of the respondents to ensure their responses arrive in a timely manner. Late
arrivals will be rejected. The Corinth School District is not responsible for delays of any
commercial carrier or delays incurred by the respondents. Late submissions may not be
considered.
The Corinth School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive
informalities or technicalities in the proposal process.

MINIMUM VENDOR QUALIFICATION
Vendors must:
1. Be legally authorized to conduct business within the State of Mississippi.
2. Be registered and active within SAM.gov.
3. Demonstrate successful implementation of comparable communication platforms in K-
12 educational environments.
4. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
5. Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
6. Comply with all applicable student data privacy requirements including FERPA, COPPA,
and related regulations.
7. Agree to contractual terms approved by the Corinth School District and its legal counsel.
REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES
The proposed solution must include, at a minimum, the following capabilities:

* Multi-channel communication including voice, text messaging, email, mobile application
notifications, and web-based communication
* Two-way communication between school personnel and families
* Emergency and routine notification capabilities
* Automated messaging and notification scheduling
* Translation capabilities for multilingual communication

* Integration with the district's Student Information System (SIS)
* Automated synchronization of student, family, and staff data
* User permissions and role-based access controls
* Communication analytics and reporting dashboards
* Reporting by school, grade level, classroom, student, and demographic subgroup
* Exportable reports and data visualization tools
Administrative Features
* Call logs and communication records
* Message delivery verification
* Communication monitoring and reporting tools

EVALUATION METHODOLOGY
A contract shall be awarded based upon the proposal determined to be in the best interest of the
Corinth School District. The district may consider the following factors:

The district is not required to award a contract solely on the basis of lowest cost.
ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSALS
The Corinth School District reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
* Reject any or all proposals;
* Waive informalities or irregularities;
* Negotiate with one or more vendors;
* Award a contract to other than the lowest-cost proposal;
* Make no award if deemed to be in the best interest of the district.
DISPOSITION OF PROPOSALS
All proposals submitted in response to this RFP become the property of the Corinth School
District and will not be returned.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATION
The school district shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Mississippi Code of 1972
Annotated and with all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations relating to bids.
TERMINATION FOR CONVENIENCE
In the event the vendor is unable to provide the contracted services and mutually acceptable
alternatives cannot be arranged, the contract can be terminated with written notification by either
party. The Corinth School District shall give written notice of the termination to the vendor
specifying the part of the contract terminated and when termination becomes effective. The
vendor shall incur no further obligations in connection with the terminated work and on the date
set in the notice of termination the vendor will stop work to the extent specified. The vendor
must still complete the work not terminated by the notice of termination and incur obligations as
are necessary to do so.
