Waupaca County Shared Ride Transit Service RFP

Qualified contractors are being sought to provide an entirely outsourced coordinated shared-ride transit services in the specified area within the RFP. The selected offeror will provide a technology platform, provision of rides, revenue collection, community engagement and service promotion of shared ride services.

The service requested will be a curb-to-curb and door-to-door based on rider need, demand-responsive advanced reservation and on-demand shared-ride transit service available to the general public, initially only for intercity rides in Waupaca County and intracity rides and destinations in that portion of the City of New London within Waupaca County.

Intracity rides within the City of Waupaca will be added in January, 2026, but is not part of the 2025 operational year. The agency anticipates that intracity rides within the Outagamie County portion of New London may be added during the option years of this contract without affecting the established span of service or requiring additional vehicle service hours.
