Waterford Township Riverwalk Extension Project
General Notice
Charter Township of Waterford (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Waterford Township Riverwalk Extension Project (DLZ No. 2245-7546-00)
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Charter Township of Waterford Hall
located at 5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48329, until Thursday, April 16, 2024, at 2:00
pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside the following,

and shall clearly show the name of the submitter.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as
follows:
Extension of existing Waterford Township Riverwalk non-motorized pathway. The extension will tie the
existing trail system to the east side of the Clinton River in the Drayton Plains Nature Center. The
extension includes an HMA pathway, elevated boardwalk and prefabricated steel truss pedestrian
bridge spanning the Clinton River.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday
through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding
Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be
available from the Issuing Office. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be
offered only through the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding
Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a deposit of
$50 for each set. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to DLZ Michigan, Inc.
Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at the Waterford Township Hall
Auditorium at 5200 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48329 on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 3:00
pm.
