Water Utilities Water Valve Maintenance Project

Project Description: The City of Waco has issued this solicitation for the maintenance service of approximately 6,458 water valves within the noted section of the City of Waco. This is approximately onethird (1/3) of the City’s inventory of water valves. The service is to include exercising the water valves and cleaning the valve boxes, as well as, replacing any broken valve box covers/lids to be tracked through an online dashboard. In addition, the contractor shall immediately report any non-working or irregularly operating water valves to the City of Waco. At this point the, said valves shall be evaluated for repair or replacement. Work may be performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, fuel. The water valve sizes included in this project are 16 inch and smaller water valves.
