Water Treatment System Backup Power 18262.822-1

Project Description: Sealed proposals for the Water Treatment System Backup Power Project will be received online via the PennBid Program for Franklintown Borough Municipal Authority of York County, until 1:00 PM, on Monday, January 19, 2026. The bids will be opened via PennBid at 1:10 PM and shared publicly.
Project includes installation of Authority pre-purchased generators and transfer switches for Well No 1 and Well No 2 sites. Work generally includes offloading and installation of new generators to existing concrete pads, and installation of transfer switches including wiring and connections in building interior and to control system.
A pre-bid site visit and review of the proposed work with Municipality’s Representative will be held at 10:00 a.m. to noon, local time on Monday, December 15, 2025 at the Water Treatment Plant, located on the southeast corner of Long Avenue and South Streets in Franklintown Borough, PA, 17323. Site visit to Well No 2 will be included.
This project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages and Public Works Employment Verification Act and Commonwealth Financing Authority conditions of the Contract.
Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority through PennBid.
The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Authority. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in in bids received.
