Water Treatment Services

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified Bidders to perform full service water treatment services for boiler systems, cooling tower systems, closed loop systems, and secondary disinfection for potable water systems. Services shall also include all materiel, any required equipment (and installation) as well as any required professional consulting services.

Roswell Park’s campus is located on 28-acres in the heart of the 120-acre Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and includes a The Joint Commission accredited hospital, research, clinical, and administrative buildings with more than 2.2 million GSF. These buildings are served by a central power plant (North Plant) providing steam and chilled water which is supplemented by a smaller chilled water plant on the south portion of campus (South Plant). The North Plant comprises (3) boilers and (6) chillers with supporting equipment and the South Plant comprises (4) chillers and their associated support equipment. Each plant has water treatment systems that support the steam and chilled water production. Additional package boilers, chillers, and heat exchangers located within campus buildings also have water treatment system needs for various closed loop systems. Secondary disinfection is used on patient care potable water systems.
