Description
To select a supplier capable of performing the Supply of Chemicals, Monitoring of Water Treatment for Boiler Feed, Chiller, Cooling, Heating and Cooling Towers as detailed herein for the Physical Resources Central Services Department and other buildings on all our campuses. The services will be provided as defined and in accordance with the terms of this Proposal Call. It is UW’s intent to enter into a three (3) year agreement with the successful respondent.
UW is looking to accomplish the following goals:
- Maintain the high quality of the water standards in clean heat transfer surfaces which are substantially free of scale, sludge, deposits settling in the bottom of equipment, corrosion and pitting controls, biological disease prevention and services currently in place on all equipment and systems,
- Maintain the consistency and reliability within the Plant Staff to ensure 100 % uptime
- Provide monthly service visits (both scheduled and unscheduled),
- Provide evidence that the water treatment program meets the established and proven standards (as requested or needed),
- Respond to emergency calls the same day and no longer than 24 hours,
- Providing consulting services on an as needed basis,
- Identify potential efficiencies and cost savings without compromising the current water standards,
- Provide on-site analyzing equipment and laboratory services,
- Yearly inspections,
- Reporting,
- Provide training to Plant Staff as required
