WATER TREATMENT PLANT FILTER MEDIA REPLACEMENT

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Filter Media Replacement will be received by Murfreesboro Water and Sewer at 204 E. Main Street, Murfreesboro, Arkansas 71958 until 1:00PM May 26, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally consists of the rehabilitation of 2 existing filters.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the office of the City of Murfreesboro Water Department, 204 E. Main Street, Murfreesboro, Arkansas, AR 71958 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; and the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Contract Documents may also be examined at the following: Dodge Reports, www.construction.com
Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Crist Engineers, Inc. online at www.cristengineers.com at a purchase price of $25.00 for each set. No refunds of payment will be made, and no partial sets will be issued. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered as the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 18, 2026, at 1:00PM.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders appearing in the Contract Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidders must be licensed contractors qualified for business in the State of Arkansas before submitting a bid on this work.
