Synopsis:
|
|
The Work generally comprises of:
Rehabilitation of the existing clarifier which includes the removal of the existing clarifier drive
mechanism followed by the installation of an Owner Supplied clarifier drive mechanism, installation
of Owner supplied settling tubes, replacement of the sludge blowdown pumps, associated
piping/valves, demolition of the existing cathodic protection system and supply and installation of a
new cathodic protection, concrete rehabilitation and re-coating, interior metal component assessment
and re-coating, associated electrical and controls, and painting of select items and walls.
• The Owner Supplied clarifier drive mechanism will be supplied by Ovivo.
• The Owner Supplied settling tubes will be supplied by Brentwood Industries.
• The Cathodic Protection System shall be coordinated through Corrpro.
The Work will be completed within an active Water Treatment Plant with the Water Treatment Plant
remaining in operation throughout the full duration of the Work.
