Clarifying Information:
Question #1:
Under the Water System Mast Plan Format, within exhibit “C”,
section A.7.c. states “perform visual inspection of interior and
exterior of the City’s thirteen (13) reservoirs and provide specific
recommendations with planning level estimates regarding recoating,
cathodic protection, and miscellaneous improvements.
Is it the City’s intent to have these inspections done as part of the
Water Master Plan evaluation?
Response:
Yes, we want the tanks to be inspected externally, and internally
with divers, as part of the existing infrastructure evaluation.
Question #2:
Response:
Can the City provide GIS files for the existing water system?
The City of Roseburg will provide the active GIS files for the existing
water system to the selected consultant when they begin work on
the planning document. For this SOQ the existing system can be
closely summarized by referring to the existing water master plan
(MSA,2010). Specific improvements that have happened since that
plan can be provided if requested.
