WATER SYSTEM IMPROVMENTS - DIVISION II

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements ¿ Division II will be received, by Sale City, at the Sale City - City Hall ¿ 122 East Broad Street, Sale City, GA 31784, until 11:00 AM local time on March 19, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of main well modifications, back-up well modifications, replacement of existing water meters with new AMR water meters (more specifically provide and install +/- 180 - 5/8¿ x 3/4¿ AMR water meters, +/- 25 ¿ 1¿ AMR water meters, +/- 9 ¿ 2¿ AMR water meters, +/- 214 backflow preventers, furnishing meter reading device/associated necessary software & facilitating training), providing and installing 1 new 150KW/187.5KVA, 480/277V, 3 phase, 4 wire standby diesel generator, along with generator control panel, generator enclosure, non-automatic transfer switch, concrete generator pad, complete electrical appurtenances, generator start up services, and all additional appurtenances needed for complete installation, along with the replacement of +/- 731 LF of water main with new 8¿ PVC water main and +/- 183 LF of water main with new 6¿ PVC water main, including fittings, valves, fire hydrants, services and all other items indicated in these Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with any alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form. This agreement is for services related to the project that is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the GEFA's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan and will be subject to GEFA¿s Supplemental General Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts.
